The VFR1200F has been developed in keeping with previous VFRs; that have delivered a combination of sports and touring capabilities using the latest technologies. This motorcycle is however brand new: A clean-sheet interpretation of the ultimate road-sport machine – a concept driven by extensive understanding of customer needs and the adoption of state-of-the-art technologies. In pursuit of heightened levels of control and feedback, the VFR1200F adopts the latest race-track bred technologies but adapted and evolved to create a machine that can be many things to many riders.

The DN-01 is a superb example of how style can be combined with substance. The radical styling matches the most advanced fully automatic transmission ever developed for a two-wheeled vehicle, the HumanFriendly Transmission. Combining all the power and thrills of the compact, liquid-cooled fuel-injected 680cc V-twin engine, the HFT delivers an ease of operation that befits the bike’s overall air of laid-back freedom to explore. It’s a short-range tourer that loves sweeping into bends and cruising along motorways. It’s equally at home in an urban environment, where it possesses the sophistication and agility to pick through city traffic and narrow streets with pleasure.
